Ways to Give
Since 1987, The Foundation has brought together businesses, community members, and our school district to ensure all students have the support and resources to be successful in school. When you partner with The Foundation you are ensuring today’s students are tomorrow’s productive citizens. See below all the ways you can show your support.
Monetary Donation:
As a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization, our mission is to improve student achievement in Seminole County Public Schools. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks as forms of payment. Corporate Sponsorships:
Want to sponsor one of our amazing events? We have multiple events throughout the year where we raise funds for education, recognize teachers and staff, and make an impact on our students. From galas and golf tournaments to graduation celebrations, we have a variety of events that your company can sponsor. Click here to our upcoming events.
Legacy Planning:
An endowment allows you to leave a legacy of support for SCPS students that can fund programs for years. When you create an endowment, your donation is invested and only the income, not the principal amount, is used to support the designated program. Endowments fund scholarships, or programs by providing The Foundation with a stable income source. Contact the Foundation at 407-320-0180 to learn more.
Superintendent’s Circle:
The Superintendent’s Circle is a group of donors who recognize the importance of personally supporting education. Members give a minimum of $1,000 unrestricted donation to the Foundation. Funds raised support programs that make SCPS a premier national school district. Click here to learn more about becoming an SIC member.
Donate Securities:
By donating appreciated stock, mutual funds, bonds, or ETFs, donors receive an immediate tax deduction on the fair market value of their stock gift and avoid capital gains. Workplace Giving:
Want to give to The Foundation through payroll deduction? You can sign up for our Workplace Giving Campaign anytime throughout the year. You can donate HERE through payroll deduction or mail a check payable to The Foundation for SCPS and notate “Workplace Giving” to 400 E. Lake Mary Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773
Supply Drive:
Our Tools 4 Seminole Schools’ Annual Supply Drive happens each summer from July through September. Whether you want to host a summer team builder, buy online with our virtual supply drive, or wait until the clearance sales at local retailers in September, you’ll be providing essential school supplies to keep our shelves stocked all year long. License for Learning:
Be part of the driving force to support public education by purchasing the “Support Education” Florida Specialty License Plate! For every plate purchased or renewed in Seminole County, The Foundation receives a $20 tax-deductible donation to support the students and teachers of Seminole County Public Schools.
Stop by your local Seminole County Tax Collector’s Office to get your plate today or select Support Education through the License for Learning program when you renew online!
