SCPS is excited to announce our next Internship Expo. The ePathways team, in collaboration with the SCPS Workplace Learning Steering Committee and local employers, will host the event at The Westin Lake Mary on Wednesday, April 20th.
This event connects nearly 500 high school students across the district to employers interested in providing internship opportunities and career education. This year we anticipate hosting nearly 50 employers offering 100 internships to students entering 11th and 12th grade. Employers offer a variety of positions across industries including Business, Construction, Education, Finance, Government, Healthcare, Hospitality, Information Technology, Interior Design and more!
Internships provide students with opportunities to apply their classroom learning to the workplace while also allowing students to explore aspects of industry that are not readily available to entry-level employees.
