The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools is proud to recognize and thank the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office for their generous $20,000 grant supporting Take Stock in Children and the Midway Safe Harbor Center.
As long-time supporters of the Foundation, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening our community through education and youth development. Their partnership helps provide critical resources and opportunities for students and families in need while creating a safer, brighter future for Seminole County.
Take Stock in Children is a statewide program that provides comprehensive support services to students throughout high school through volunteer mentors, skill-building workshops, and guidance from a College Readiness Coach. Upon successful completion of the program and graduation, students receive a two-year Florida Prepaid Scholarship to support their post-secondary education goals.
The Midway Safe Harbor Center, located in the Midway community, provides students with a safe and nurturing environment after school, during evenings and weekends, and throughout the summer months. The Center works to meet the needs of the community while offering positive role models and enriching opportunities for the youth it serves.
The Foundation is deeply grateful to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office for investing in programs that empower students, support families, and build a stronger community for all.
