Creating A Brighter Future For Our Students

Thanks to our donors, The Foundation is excited to award 63 scholarships to the SCPS Class of 2024 valued at over $162,000 and includes recipients from 9 SCPS high schools.

This year, 67% of these scholarships will directly benefit students facing financial constraints, enabling them to pursue higher education or vocational training that might otherwise be out of reach. By facilitating their post-high school education and skill development, these students are empowered to access high-demand, well-paying jobs within our community.

The impact of receiving a scholarship extends far beyond the monetary value, profoundly influencing the lives of our students as they embark on their educational journeys. One grateful recipient expressed in a heartfelt thank-you to our donors,

“Your investment in my education means more to me than words can adequately convey. Receiving this scholarship is not just a financial relief; it is a testament to your belief in my potential and a reminder of the countless opportunities that lie ahead. Your generosity has lightened my financial burden and allowed me to focus wholeheartedly on my academic pursuits and personal growth. Thank you for your incredible generosity and for believing in my potential. I will carry your kindness with me throughout my academic and professional journey.”

– Jason, Seminole HS, Class of 2024.

We extend our deepest appreciation to our compassionate donors whose contributions make this transformative experience possible for our seniors and to our Selection Committee who spent hours carefully reviewing this year’s applications. With the continued support of our community, The Foundation is working hard to expand and enhance this program each passing year, ensuring a brighter future for our students.
