Thanks to the generosity of AdventHealth, hands-on learning is rolling to elementary schools across Seminole County Public Schools!
The SCPS Physics Bus program is a fleet of three mobile classrooms that travel to all elementary schools in Seminole County. The program supports fourth and fifth grade students by providing them with hands-on, interactive STEM experiences. By making physics experiments accessible, this helps students build critical math and science skills early and gives children the confidence needed to pursue accelerated STEM tracks in middle and high school.
AdventHealth has invested in STEM learning through the Mechanics Bus and Optics Bus. This year, they are growing their investment by becoming the Presenting Sponsor of the Electricity Physics Bus. With this $50,000 investment, AdventHealth is helping ensure SCPS remains the #1 school district for STEM in Florida.
