The Duke Energy Foundation recently provided a $40,000 “Powering Success for SCPS Students and Teachers” grant, which will support students and educators during the 2026-2027 school year.
This investment will provide mentoring and college scholarships to students in need through Take Stock in Children while also funding innovative classroom projects through Grants for Great Ideas. Together, these programs help students succeed academically and empower teachers to create engaging learning experiences.
Duke Energy has been a longstanding partner of the Foundation, supporting our mission through grants, sponsorships, and volunteerism. Beyond their financial contributions, Duke Energy employees serve as mentors for students and generously share their time and expertise on Foundation committees and the Board of Directors.
